Decommissioned is not worthless. Equipment under three to four years old almost always has residual value. We value it in advance, buy it back and resell it; the agreed residual value is transferred to your account or offset against the processing costs.

Four factors determine the residual value
The valuation is per device type, these four factors weigh the heaviest. Rule of thumb: business laptops and desktops clearly retain residual value for up to three to four years, after which it drops quickly.

What is my hardware still worth?
We value that in advance, free of charge, based on a list of device types, quantities, age and condition. Age, brand, condition and market demand determine the price.
How is payment made?
After registration, erasure and inspection you receive the statement. You choose: payout to your account, or offsetting against the processing costs of the rest of the batch.
What happens to the data?
Every device is erased or destroyed according to NIST SP 800-88 with a certificate, before the equipment is sold.
Is there a minimum quantity?
As an indication we apply ten units per batch for laptops and phones, servers and network equipment are valued per configuration. We do not accept private equipment.
