One rack, dozens of storage media
A server contains a steel chassis, multiple power supplies, circuit boards with precious metals and often several drives. We also process storage systems (SAN/NAS) and network equipment such as switches and routers. Every drive is first registered by serial number and erased or destroyed, only after that do we dismantle it and separate it by material.

Per assignment we report the weight per stream and its destination. On the left the streams from the rack and chassis, on the right the drives, storage and network equipment. The percentages are example values, RQNX confirms the actual split.

Questions about server recycling
Do you also accept storage and network equipment?
Yes. SAN/NAS systems, switches, routers and UPS systems are processed alongside server recycling, each registered separately.
What happens to all the drives from a rack?
Every drive is recorded separately by serial number and erased or destroyed according to NIST SP 800-88, with a certificate per drive.
Can you erase on site for sensitive environments?
Yes, for sensitive environments we bring an erasure station or shredder to you. Registration and certification are the same as processing at our facility.
What figures do I get for my CSRD reporting?
Per assignment: weight per material stream, destination and processor, share reused and the number of devices by serial number.
